So it really sucks that i wasn`t allowed to go out today. :| Like come on. I lied to be allowed to go out once? I mean, i get it, t`was wrong but you can`t just not allow me to every plan i have :| Like wtf. I have a life and besides it is MY life you`re trying to control. :| It`s unfair. I`m old…
Here’s some cousinly advice:
There are several things in life that you should cherish. Trust is one of them. Especially your parents. Is one event really worth sacrificing their trust? Lying about something as important as where you are just because you want to go out isn’t worth that. They only don’t allow you to things because they want to keep you safe and lying about it to them won’t make things better. Yes, you have a life and you have every right to live it. But don’t forget who gave you that life, who pays for the life you have, and who makes sacrifices so you can enjoy that life. And really, missing one event is not going to change your life forever. Just think about this every time you lie about where you are going, if something happens to you, there’s no way of them knowing how to find you until they can’t find you anymore. Believe me, I’m three years older than you and I’m telling you now, DON’T SACRIFICE THEIR TRUST. It’s the one thing that’ll get you to do the things you want to do. If you want them to allow you to more stuff, you have to earn their trust back. And remember, they love you very much. They just don’t want anything bad to happen to you. I don’t want anything bad to happen to you.
If you want, I can ask my parents to talk to yours about it. :)
